24/7, 365 Days a Year
In 1986, Thomas Trotter, VMD, and Anthony DeCarlo, VMD, opened the original Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Shrewsbury, NJ to serve pets and families in the area. Right from the start the hospital set the stage for cutting-edge medicine by pioneering MRI use on small animals.
As our reputation for excellence in medicine and service to the community grew, so did demand for our unique brand of compassionate care supported by advanced technology. Over the years, we’ve outgrown buildings, repurposed locations for expanded veterinary care options, and purchased hospitals to serve a larger area.
Since joining the Compassion-First family of pet hospitals in 2014, we’ve helped revolutionize how veterinary practices connect with each other.
Compassion-First specialty and emergency hospitals invest in new technologies and training, so that patients and families always benefit from the latest medical developments. Our strong culture of collaboration ensures that knowledge is shared for the best outcomes possible.
Offering pets and their families the most compassionate and advanced care available has always driven every decision we make—and it always will.
We strive to provide the best care possible, and your valued comments help us to continually raise the level of service we offer to our patients and their owners every day. Sharing your experiences will help others who are looking for information about the veterinary care we provide.
